From WANDERLUSTEAST to WANDERWORLDLUST

Long time no write! I’ve been pretty busy getting started with uni and moving back to England from China; that I really haven’t had the time to sit down properly and write. Since Singapore (my last post) I’ve travelled to so many other places such as Kathmandu, Nepal and a big trip around China; Xiamen, Yunnan and Chengdu. So I have lots of travel writing to catch up on. However, I’d like to change my style of writing on this blog. Let me tell you in what way…

First of all, this blog’s identity has to change! Since moving back to England (not forever, I’m studying to become a History Teacher and working on some other business-related projects) I am now out of Asia - the EAST. Recently I did an 18-day trip around Bosnia, Istanbul, Turkey and Athens, Greece. It was another truly amazing SOLO adventure! But as you can see I’m no longer just wanderlusting (just made up my own verb there) around the East… but also other parts of the world in Europe and the West. What even classifies East and West? Let’s just say I am now… WANDERWORLDLUST

I want to use this space to reflect on my thoughts about travel, life, happiness, loneliness, China, education, teaching – pretty much everything really. Basically all aspects of my life that can potentially advise, inspire, help or even just entertain a reader! I'm also already planning some travels around the UK and potentially have Israel/Palestine on the cards - it's all thoughts and post-it note jottings at the moment but i'm pretty much always thinking T R A V E L!

So... this blog is going to be quite thematic from now on; even if no-one reads it at all… it’s so helpful for me in collecting my thoughts, reflecting and growing as a person. Ultimately, I want to inspire people, for example other girls considering to travel alone but not quite confident, and anyone else really; to grasp opportunities, travel the world and never give up. We are all on the same journey but a different path. Perhaps you will read my thoughts and you can take something from them, relate or just hear a different stance to something that you don't particularly relate to at all! So please keep an eye out for my writing that is to come, I'm excited to share.
