Back to "reality"!

So I’m finally back in Shanghai and getting back to “reality”. I think that the best thing about teaching English or working abroad, such as in China, is that whilst you travel during your time away, you are sort of not coming back to a harsh or dull reality, but a continued amazing adventure. I’m back in Shanghai but not sad at all. I’m reflecting on the most amazing, almost two-month, trip ever, and also buzzing to be back in China. I have about four months left and I can’t believe it. I plan to make the most of my time here, study Chinese, excel in my teaching, continue to travel and embrace the experience. So, my last week in India was amazing. I had a relaxing two nights in Udaipur whereby I got some Indian suits made before heading to Agra. The Taj Mahal was breath-taking. It just so happened that my daytrip there fell on Valentine’s Day; which was a funny and nice coincidence. Hey hey!  Time is going wayyyy too quickly! I can't believe I was ever daunted by the concept of a month in India alone, because time has gone way too quickly and I rarely ever feel alone! Exploring India has been a dream come true for me and has only inspired me to further travel in India again.  So after Bangalore I took a comfortable second class AC and train to Hampi. I slept through the whole journey and arrived into Hampi excited and happy. I'd arrived into a rocky heaven. The tuk tuk drove me to a potential guesthouse in a quiet part away from the craziness of the village Centre. It was so beautiful that I couldn't believe my eyes!  Peaceful, beautiful,  natural and historical; is how I would describe Hampi.  I spent the most amazing three nights there relaxing, exploring the ancient historical temples and ruins, having my first of many full body Ayurvedic massages each evening, cycling around to explore the other small island across the small rive...
